Barrels
One of the basic products of our company are bathtubs, the use of which dates back to ancient times when wooden ones were used instead of plastic ones. In these regions, the tradition that every house in the countryside has its own brandy made from plums or other fruits is widespread. This leads to the need for vats to store and ferment the fruit. Plastic tubs are widely used for fermentation of fruits and vegetables, storage of drinking water, chemicals, granular materials and animal feed.
Material
Plastic tubs are made of PEHD. It is a material that has a UV stabilizer in its structure and is resistant to solar radiation. The material is chemically inert, which means that it does not change its properties during use, so that in addition to fruit, water as well as other liquids and substances can be stored in tubs made of this material. The tubs do not emit or absorb the smell of the substances contained in them, and the material is resistant to drastic temperature differences and is stable at temperatures from -30cº to +60cº.
Why plastic tubs?
Plastic bathtubs differ from traditional wooden ones because they do not require additional maintenance after use and cleaning. They do not take up much space, and can be used both outdoors and indoors. They are easy to carry and manipulate. When not in use, space can be saved by successively packing the tubs into each other. They can be made in different colors at the customer's request.
If you plan to store sauerkraut in tubs, the tub is made with an internal floating lid that serves to exert pressure on the cabbage. The floating lid is also used when storing wine by adding oil on top that prevents wine from evaporating. Tubs with a water seal (sealing) are increasingly used for fruit fermentation. It is characteristic of these tubs that there is a belt (channel) on the outside of the tub into which water is poured. The lid, which fits into the channel, achieves an exceptional tightness of the tub, so that the process of fruit fermentation is accelerated. The advantage of these tubs is that flies and other insects are prevented from entering the compost.
Plastic tubs made with spiral winding technology have a budgeted service life of over 50 years without additional maintenance. Bathtubs are made in variants with and without a cover. At the customer's request, it is possible to install a faucet connection, carrying handles, level indicator... In addition to fruit fermentation, plastic tubs are also safe for storing drinking water.
Dimensions
Standard production of plastic tubs for water, wine, wood chips is done in volumes from 500 to 10,000 liters. At the customer's request, it is possible to make plastic tubs of larger volumes.
