One-chamber septic tanks
One-chamber Septic Tanks
The fecal sewage system is designed to carry away waste water from sanitary devices. Fecal waters are drained into the external fecal sewage network. Plastic septic tanks are a solution for the deposition (collection) and partial cleaning of waste water. They are installed in areas where the city sewage system has not been built and where it is not possible to connect to the sewage system. We manufacture plastic septic tanks using spiral winding technology. Burying them in the ground prevents the spread of unpleasant odors and infection.
Material
Septic tanks are made by spiral winding (extrusion), whereby the plastic mass is wound on steel drums of different diameters. In this way, a cylinder is obtained on which the Dane from the side of the septic tank and then the connections are installed. They are most often made of high-density polyethylene (PEHD). It is a material that is resistant to all types of chemicals used in households as well as to the fecal content itself.
In addition to fecal content, septic tanks can also receive water from other systems - from the washing machine, bathtub, and kitchen. The structure of the material is such that it does not corrode or peel over time, so the working life of septic tanks is over 50 years, and they represent a safe and cheap investment that solves an important problem in places where there is no fixed fecal sewage system.
Using
When digging septic tanks, the length and width of the hole must be at least 250 mm larger on each side compared to the dimensions of the septic tank. The bottom of the excavated hole must be filled with sand to a height of 100 mm in order to level the hole. After lowering the septic tank into the hole, the free space around the pit is filled with sand up to 2/3 of the height of the septic tank. Care must be taken not to leave a free space between the septic tank and the sand, while the rest of the hole can be filled with earth. In this way, a tanpon layer is made between the septic tank and the ground. If underground water is present in the installation zone of the plastic septic tank, it is necessary to anchor it. When the upper layer is greater than 500 mm or when there is a traffic load, it is necessary to install a concrete relief plate.
Equipment
Plastic septic tanks usually contain a PVC inlet and outlet pipe with a rubber seal for the discharge of waste water. The diameter of the pipe that enters the septic tank is usually 110 mm or 160 mm. As a rule, the slope that the pipe entering the septic tank should have is about 1 percent. For additional safety when making supply pipes, it is possible to install a forked pipe in case of congestion. Septic tanks, in case they are not overflowing, must have a vent at the top. It is possible to continue the vent with PVC pipes and lead it through the ground away from the house or building so that there is no unpleasant smell.
Cleaning and Emptying
Emptying is done with tanks for which a connection with a cover is left on the inspection opening.
Only the emptying of the septic tank will be less frequent if you use means for cleaning and maintaining septic tanks. In addition, septic tank maintenance products almost completely neutralize the spread of unpleasant odors.
